Leadership in Class
I believe that consistency is a key component in success. Here is what I do in room 607 to give my staff that consistency.
Start of Class Slide
Everyday at the beginning of class I present a google slide. This takes me about 5 minutes, I go through all of the announements of the day, and reflect to the staff about how much work has been done, and how much needs to get done. This sets us up for success because it puts everyone on the same page. On the slide I include certain announcements, and a funny picture of someone on staff. I find that the combination of humor and business breeds productivity.
Organization
Similarly to my beliefs on consistency, I don't see how someone can be an effective worker without organization. This is why I go above and beyond to make sure my staff is organized. This spreadsheet is an example of my organization on staff. I made it to organize our index quotes. Every staff member was assigned two quotes. In this spreadsheet, I included who was responsible for the quote, the student's name and sixth hour, as well as checkboxes to track their progress.
